HAIR RESTORATION
NUTRITION. METABOLISM. STRESS. AGING. There are so many factors that can lead to thinning hair.
Common causes of hair loss:
Hormone changes / thyroid disease
Medications and supplements (heart, blood pressure, depression)
Infections or illness
Sudden or excessive weight loss
Poor health choices (diet, smoking)
Psoriasis
Vitamin deficiencies (iron, vitamin D)
Anxiety/depression
Hairstyles and treatments
When it comes to hair loss, one of the main goals of therapy is determining the root cause of the problem.
Actual patient before and after 3 months of treatment
About 80% of men show signs of male pattern baldness by age 70 years. Approximately 80 million men and women in the United States alone suffer from hair loss and hair thinning. The most common hair loss type, known as androgenetic alopecia, is hereditary. If left untreated, hair loss usually progresses over time.
Personalized Hair Loss Genetics
Did you know we offer genetic testing to help determine the best treatment options for your hair loss?
Hair loss is rarely caused by a single factor. At The Beaumont Med Spa, we combine comprehensive laboratory testingwith advanced genetic analysis to better understand the root cause of your hair loss and develop a treatment plan that is personalized to your unique biology.
Your genetics can help predict which hair restoration therapies you are most likely to respond to—and which ones may provide little or no benefit. For example, some individuals carry genetic variants that indicate little to no expected improvement with minoxidil. In these cases, starting minoxidil may expose you to unnecessary cost, frustration, and the potential for increased shedding if the medication is later discontinued. By identifying these genetic patterns before treatment begins, we can often avoid ineffective therapies and focus on options that are more likely to produce meaningful results.
Genetic testing allows us to create one of the most individualized hair restoration plans possible, guiding both oral and topical medications, nutritional support, and other advanced therapies based on your DNA—not a one-size-fits-all approach. Combined with laboratory evaluation for hormone imbalances, nutrient deficiencies, thyroid disorders, inflammation, and other medical causes of hair loss, this precision approach gives you the greatest opportunity for successful, long-term hair restoration.

PRP Hair Restoration
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is a natural, regenerative treatment that uses your body's own healing properties to support healthier, fuller hair. While PRP is not a cure for hair loss, it has been shown to help reduce hair shedding, stimulate new hair growth, improve hair density, and strengthen existing hair follicles. Because PRP is created from your own blood, it is a safe, minimally invasive treatment without the use of steroids or synthetic medications.
What to Expect
Your appointment takes approximately 60 minutes. A small sample of your blood is collected and processed in a specialized centrifuge to concentrate the platelets and growth factors. The platelet-rich plasma is then carefully injected into targeted areas of the scalp to stimulate the hair follicles and support natural hair growth. Most patients experience only mild discomfort and are able to resume normal daily activities immediately following treatment.
For optimal results, we typically recommend a series of three treatments spaced 3–4 weeks apart, followed by maintenance treatments every 3–6 months, depending on your individual hair restoration goals and your provider's recommendations.
HOW CAN PRP INJECTIONS HELP?
Although PRP injections are not a cure for the condition of hair loss, they can be effective in treating hair loss, preventing hair loss and promoting new hair growth. PRP injections have been deemed simple, cost effective and feasible treatment options for androgenic alopecia, with high overall patient satisfaction. PMID: 25136212

Peptide Therapy for Hair Restoration
At The Beaumont Med Spa, peptide therapy is often incorporated into a comprehensive hair restoration program that may also include laboratory evaluation, genetic testing, hormone optimization, PRP, nutritional support, and prescription therapies. By addressing both the underlying cause of hair loss and supporting follicle regeneration, we create a personalized treatment plan designed to maximize long-term results.
Because every patient experiences hair loss differently, our providers will determine whether additional peptides will be appropriate based on your medical history, laboratory findings, genetics, and overall hair restoration goals.
